The psychedelic art pop duo OLOKUN is performance artist Butterfly Williams and music producer Winston Berger. They met in art school during a course on ritual in Berkeley, California.
The band is named after Olokun, an African deity associated with the depths of the ocean. Olokun represents the ancestors, fertility, intuition and wealth – all things that help a person live a good life.
